HERE YOU WILL FIND ABBREIVATIONS THAT I USE ON MY PATTERNS.  MOST ARE COMMONLY USED BUT YOU WILL FIND SOME THAT I HAVE INVENTED MYSELF TO TRY TO MAKE PATTERNS CLEARER TO KNIT. 

ON THE OFF CHANCE THAT I FORGET TO ADD A SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS TO ONE OF MY PATTERNS YOU WILL FIND IT LISTED HERE.

St.st; stocking stitch - one row knit, one row purl

K2tog; knit 2 stitches together (decreases 1 stitc

P2tog; purl 2 stitches together (decreases 1 stitch)

sl1k1p; slip 1 stitch, knit 1 stitch, pass slipped stitch over - decreases 1 stitch

sl1k2p; slip 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches together, pass slipped stitch over - decreases 2 stitches.

sl2k1p; slip 2 stitches as if knitting 2 together, knit 1, pass 2 slipped stitches over - decreases 2 stitches

Ms.st; moss st - worked over odd number of stitches - K1, P1, K1
